It feels like everyone on Instagram is either in the mountains skiing or enjoying some fun in the sun at the beach. Tory Burch has been posting photos from her retreat in the West Indies. If you look closely, you might notice that her house used to belong to Bunny Mellon. When I went back to my post, Chic in Antigua, it seems that some of the art and furnishings were bought with the house. Bunny Mellon had impeccable taste so it actually makes sense to keep the integrity of the home. Too bad the people who are currently gutting her old Upper East Side townhouse didn’t feel the same way.
Beautiful blue and white china and D. Porthault Blue Clovers Towel.
Clementine Hunter folk art and topiaries in a bedroom.
The Scented Garden by Rosemary Verey seems like a book that Bunny Mellon might have left in the house.
Classic white wicker furniture fills the house.
Tory’s boys taking a walk.
Colorful artwork by Etel Adnan.
The gorgeous view.
