Sunny Days
by habituallychic
01 . 27 . 13They say it only rains in Los Angeles a few days a year. Seems they are all falling during my trip this week. There are actually a lot of us in town from NYC and we’re trying to remember that a rainy warm day in LA is better than a 12 degree day which is the temperature at home. But the rain has put a little damper on things and I haven’t had a chance to wear any of the sunglasses I brought along on my trip. I posted some of my favorite sunglasses pics a few years ago during a trip to the West Coast so I thought t would be fun to post some of them again. I’m also keeping my fingers crossed that the sun will come out today.
Update: The sun did come out today in LA and it was glorious!

Since we spend so much time in our cars with only our heads showing, sunglasses are an important fashion statement for us. So sorry about the rain. Many Californians would just wear their sunglasses anyway! Wishing you SUN.
So sorry you were here for the mess earlier this week. We get more rain than people think. Hope you are here today, because Santa Monica is simply beautiful right now!
love sunnies. these photos are so effortless and chic.
When I lived in LA I wore my sunglasses rain or shine. People barely recognized me without them.
It’s supposed to stop raining tomorrow but it will still be chilly this week…well Southern CA kind of chilly.
you’re still in CA, totally better than the freeze fest we’ve got going on here. Hope you get some sun.
So glad you are having a sunny day! These pics are great; we just need one of you, Heather with your new sun specs!

Well, it was sunny today–sort of. Good luck tomorrow. We Angelinos really need the rain and I love. Hope everything else has been top notch.

The last time I went to LA I spent 4 days in my travel clothes, I was freezing!
Tres chic! I’ll take rain in LA over this cold dreary East Coast weather. Have fun!
