Casa Castiglioni
by habituallychic
02 . 22 . 12I don’t recall seeing any photos of the Consuelo Castiglioni’s main residence but there are some great photos of her family’s home in Formentera, Spain. I have never had a reputation for minimalism but in some instances I definitely think less is more, especially when the point of a place is rest and relaxation. I love the clean white walls and lack of pretense. It looks like the perfect place to get lost in a book or fall asleep in the sun. Consuelo and her family might need a getaway after all the buzz surrounding their Marni for H&M collection dies down too.

This is my ideal summer getaway! I’d spend hours under that straw pergola lounging on the large pillows!
Oh my word. Lemme go get my bikini and I’ll be right over.

I would love to live there!
Gorgeous…Heaven…
😀
it is beautiful…so simple but wonderfully elegant, I love everything about it.
Gorgeous…I would want to escape here every weekend. I love her style and it translates so beautifully in her home. 🙂
Beautiful and serene!
Hi Heather, I love this slice of heaven. I wonder if the inspiration doesn’t come from Spain’s monastic heritage, rather than simply minimalism. The counterpoint of the antique beams is amazing…Thanks for taking me back to my true love–SPAIN!! Mary
