Luis Laplace’s Marvelous Menorcan Retreat
by habituallychic
05 . 05 . 21Everyone who saw the renovated 19th-century farmhouse of Luis Laplace and his partner Christophe Comoy on the island of Menorca in the WSJ. Magazine this weekend immediately fell in love. It’s probably because we haven’t been able to travel to abroad in over a year but it’s also because it doesn’t look overdone or too perfect. It looks very personal and full of bits and pieces collected on the island in addition to items from elsewhere in Spain and France mixed with some furniture from the 1970s. Luckily for everyone who will not be invited to stay in one of the lovely guestrooms, there are some new hotels on the island. I’m already checking for vacancies.
