Dreaming of Spring

I woke up to a temperature of 6 degrees this morning. That’s -14 to those of you on the Celsius scale.  I am so tired of pulling on tights and boots and twelve layers everyday.  In fact, I think I’d like to burn all my winter clothes.  Spring is still two months away and I’m already dreaming about what I’ll be wearing. I love all these full skirts, fun dresses, bright colors, and most of all, the bare legs.  I can guarantee I’ll be twirling too when the warm weather finally arrives!

    Totally understand – but now you can’t complain during the sweltering heat of summer when you’re melting! Sometimes it feels as if we trade one evil for another.

    I am also SO ready for signs of spring! As much as I love cute skirts with black tights and strappy wedges…I’m ready to bare my legs! (Not that the world is ready for these white stems at the moment!) I’m seriously loving the twirly skirts…I’ve collected so many cute vintage ones that I’m dying to wear!

    I know how you feel! Imagine what -27C (that’s -17F!!!) feels like! That’s how cold Montreal is today. I forget all about fashion in this weather, which is terrible in a fashionable city like this! So depressing 🙁

    I woke up to -24 at 6:30 this morning to travel back to school after a weekend at home. It was not a fun experience and your post has me dreaming of spring!

    Oh, please don’t tease… spring seems to be so far away! We have more snow in Helsinki, Finland than ever before and it’s currently snowing again….
