Island Life
by habituallychic
03 . 31 . 09 I need a vacation. And if I had known earlier that you could rent out The Guest House and Cricket Pavilion on India Hick’s propoerty Hibiscus Hill on Harbour Island, I would have thought about planning a trip sooner. They both look heavenly. Instead I will make do by drooling over all the photos in her book, Island Life, and wishing I was there. Sigh.

Laura
So sereen!! Im there…..
Heather, I think you need to come to LA for vacation….
The white floors in the lower photos make such a wonderful fresh punctuation point in the room… it’s amazing what a difference they make in the feel of the room. I love the picture of India Hicks in the backless gown with her kids – it conveys how at home she is in her glamorous life!
New meaning to “wish I was there” – oh the color of the water…..
breathtakingly lovely.
I need a vacation 🙁
What a dress!
i went to Harbour Island last year and stayed at The Landing, which was designed by india hicks. the decor was just so elegant but at the same time easy and comfortable for an island lifestyle. i love all the little plantation home touches!
this was so refreshing to see today..thank you heather..
luckily, i was fortunate to have few days in the sun, beach and palm trees and have just returned…i advise a little of this for everyone who can do it… the best medicine ever…
What’s not to love?
