Let the countdown begin! Season 2 of Gossip Girl begins on September 1st with a little fun in the sun of The Hamptons. Too bad they aren’t actually filming in The Hamptons since I will be there Thursday and Friday for an installation. It would have been fun to report back some Blair and Serena sightings. Oh well. I guess we’ll just have to wait for the premier. XOXO.

I have to admit I have never watched an episode but if it is set in the faux Hamptons I might just have to download it – looks great! How lucky are you getting to work in The real Hamptons.
Looking at these still photos (as opposed to the television), the scenes looks so over styled. I mean the whole picnic basket thing and the towel perfectly folded over the back of the chair. Totally unreal but they all look great!

Second season already! The faux GG Hamptons looks, well, faux! But who cares LOL.
I miss my little Hamptons love shack, so maybe GG will ease the ache.
And where do I summer? In a palce where it’s summer for 10 months out of the year – New Orleans!
So glad that I am not alone in loving the GG. Blair’s expressions alone are worth the time spent watching it, but NY Mag throws it over the top with the Tuesday morning recap. So good.

they did film in the hamptons like two or three months ago, though
Well , I heard they were filming on LI but not in East Hampton where Serena’s house is supposed to be but then I just read this juicy tidbit, “Joan Carl, designer and owner of French home-couture brand D. Porthault, opened up her Southampton manse to the Gossip Girl crew as a shooting location for the upcoming season–the company’s Tigre print beach towels also make an appearance.”
Gotta love Chuck, but doesn’t it look like he’s sitting on that wine glass?
I was so hoping to rent Season 1 so I could watch Season 2… hmmmm
Season 1 comes out on dvd Sept. 24th according to my niece.
