What to Wear with Net-a-Porter

I’m answering more of your questions on what to wear in NYC, Paris, and a weekend away with Net-a-Porter today. I love ordering from Net-a-Porter because they have so many options and their fast delivery. This is especially important when you book a last minute getaway.

I’ve been wearing a lot of black and navy this fall so this navy Blazé Milano Resolute Everyday Double Breasted Velvet Trimmed Wool Crepe Blazer is the perfect starting off point for those 65 degree days when it’s too warm to wear a coat. There could not be a better sweater to pair with it than this Toteme Midnight Blue Silk Trimmed Two-tone Wool Turtleneck Sweater. Not sure if you can tell but the trousers have are subtle Pleated Prince of Wales Checked Wool-blend Pants that add a little extra interest to the outfit. They also have an elastic drawstring waist for those of you who want to be comfortable.

You could obviously pair this outfit with black accessories but I coordinate to the cordovan color in the pattern with these Saint Laurent Le Loafer Logo-embellished Patent Leather Loafers and dark purple Loewe Medium Leather Tote. I love that it comes with a shoulder strap too. To finish off the look, I’d add a pair of black Round-frame Acetate Sunglasses for those sunny days in the city when I’m walking around to see all the fall decorations.

I was supposed to go out to Sag Harbor this week but I had to cancel my trip. If you happen to be going out of town or even on a day trip to go leaf peeping or apple picking, you will need something warm and cozy to wear. Upgrade from fleece to this very chic Shearling and Suede Coat that makes me want to move to the country full time. I would pair it with a neutral Fair Isle Cashmere and Silk-blend Sweater and Cropped High-rise Straight-leg Jeans, taupe Slim Leather Ankle Boots, and Gold-plated Hoop Earrings.

I like to make sure my travel bag reflects my style and destination and this taupe Metier Leather Weekend Bag is perfect for a fall trip.

I’m headed to Paris in November and this is reflective of what I wore last year and what I will probably wear again this trip. I always wear a grey Wool Sweater and grey Wool-blend Straight-leg Pants as my base and then I top with with a Belted Checked Wool-blend Coat. When I was in the security line last year, the two French women in front of me were also dressed very similar which made me confident in my wardrobe choices for the City of Light.

I’d pair this look with brown Satin, Suede and Leather Sneakers because Paris is a walking city and brown Leather Tote. I like a tote for traveling so I can put all my purchases in it so they don’t get lost while I’m out and about. This one is great since it also has a shoulder strap. It will no doubt be wet in November so I’d also pack this dark grey Cashmere Baseball Cap to wear when I don’t want to carry an umbrella.

Hope this helps you figure out what to pack from Net-a-Porter this fall too.

XOXO,

HC
