I saw a few influencers pull out summer sun dresses, bare summer sandals, and raffia basket bags last week when the weather warmed up. I am have been firmly taught that you only wear clothes appropriate to the current month and season no matter what the temperature. That means no summer clothes in March. It’s also turning cold again this so how do we lighten up and dress for spring while still dressing warm for cold temperatures. I bought this white Embellished Circle Midi Skirt because it reminded me of the white skirts sent down the runway with charcoal grey sweaters, of which I own many. I put a few outfits together and the best thing is that each piece can be mixed and matched depending on your preference. And obviously if you live in a warmer climate, you can pair the skirt with pastels and lighter pieces now and the rest of us can do it a little later.

The first outfit is probably the closest to how I will wear the Embellished Circle Midi Skirt with a charcoal grey Cashmere Crewneck Sweater. The sweater comes in 30 different colors if you want to go rogue and choose a different colored sweater.

Prada showed their white skirts with white shoes but I’m not into that look. I do love these new nude Fold Kitten Heel Slingback Pumps though. I’m glad my Toteme Signature Trench Coat is still in style since I love the look. I found it priced really well on MyTheresa too.

I love how the white Pearl Drop Earrings pick up the color of the skirt. I’ll carry my burgundy Khaite Tote but since they don’t make that color anymore, I would suggest this Essential Bucket Tote. It’s a already a great price but it’s 25% off for Insider loyalty members.

For this outfit with the Embellished Circle Midi Skirt, I would pair it with the other charcoal grey Cashmere Sweater and The Row Claudette Flats which I both own. But since the shoes are mostly sold out in black and are very expensive, I would recommend these Pointed Toe Kitten Heel Pumps.

If you want a shoe with a little more of a kitten heel, I like these black Leather Slingback Pumps.

I ignored the black jacket that Prada styled it with and the Houndstooth Wool-blend Trench Coat. I love this red Leather Shoulder Bag for your pop of color and the Baroque Pearl Hoop Earrings.

If you want to pair the Embellished Circle Midi Skirt with a black Cashmere Sweater and brown Belted Cotton Trench Coat similar to the runway look, I would pair them with lighter accessories.

I just googled “kitten heel shoes” and these very chic cloud grey Kitten Heel Pumps came up. I love this color but they come in four other colors too. It’s funny how I rarely see anyone wearing high heels anymore.

I’d also pair this outfit with a white Leather Handbag and Round Pearl Huggie Earrings.

You could also pair any of the green handbags I posted last week with these outfits and I also love the idea of wearing the pale green trench coat in this post with the white skirt.
