Color My World

I’m a little nervous about this post. I know it feels a bit out of left field but I like to keep you on your toes. Everyone is clamoring for fall fashions which usually means neutrals and wool fabrics but there is another theme for fall which is pastel and bright colors. You can wear these various shades of the rainbow now with your white dresses and summer staples and later with your grey cashmere sweaters and camel coats. I also like the idea of wearing color for evening events instead of basic black. If you are afraid of color, you can tip toe into the trend with a one bag instead of an entire outfit. Sometimes it’s good to get out of our comfort zone in all respects.

I’m not a color person and even I love this Button Pocket V-Neck Cardigan. Go bold and pair it with the matching Scoop Neck Shell and Button Pocket A-Line Skirt. Or tone it down with some white jeans. Would also look great over a patterned summer dress.

If you have a black evening dress or suit, update it with a bright clutch like this crystal-embellished satin clutch.

I do have a soft spot for lavender. I think this Tweed Button Pocket Shift Dress would be great if you live in a warm local like the south where it stays warm well into fall. Throw the Button Pocket V-Neck Cardigan above over your shoulders on chilly mornings or in the air conditioning.

This orange mini intrecciato leather shoulder bag would be a great pop of color to add to any of the neutral pieces from Monday in my Ultimate Mix and Match Fall Transitional Pieces post.

You could add a navy blazer over this blue Geo Puff Sleeve Shirtdress for the office. I don’t love double side slits so I’d sew up at least one of them.

This chartreuse mini leather clutch with shoulder strap would add a great pop of color to a navy dress or suit.

You could wear this mauve satin midi dress with a black blazer but I would also throw a relaxed chunky black cashmere sweater over it too.

I’ve heard from four different sources that we need a pop of red this fall. This red Gucci small shoulder bag would fit the bill.

You will definitely not go unnoticed in this periwinkle Blanket Coat and that’s a great thing.

Love this shade of light blue on the small cassette intrecciato leather shoulder bag.

Pair these wide leg lilac trousers with this chunky grey cashmere sweater or a white shirt.

This orange leather crossbody camera bag is perfect for all your summer and fall trips.

Pair this green pleated midi skirt with a navy or black Forever Sweater.

This blue textured-leather shoulder bag is very chic but this blue leather crossbody bag is a less expensive option.

You could wear this pink Cashmere Oversized Turtleneck with grey trousers or jeans from fall into spring.

Add a minty fresh Loewe Hammock small textured-leather tote to your neutral fashions for a pretty pop of color.

If the bright colors scare you, try this dark plum Tie Waist Long Sleeve Sheath Dress.

I picture this orange A.P.C. small leather crossbody bag being worn over a tan trench or camel coat this fall and white dresses in the spring and summer.

When I posted this outfit in my Instagram Stories, I said this looked like the perfect outfit to wear to a speaking engagement. I love the color of the tweed blazer, blouse, and trousers.

You could wear this mustard small quilted suede shoulder bag with a multitude of other colors.

Fun fact, I can never spell fuchsia correctly but I can tell you that this fuchsia colored maxi dress is perfect for late summer weddings and fall events.

This blue leather shoulder bag might be a nice present for your teen going back to school soon.

I guarantee you will be the only woman wearing a chic color like this green midi silk dress to an event this summer or fall so go for broke and be bold.

Stand out in a crowd with this orange leather shoulder bag too.

The fabric on this Double Knit Flare Dress is one that won’t wrinkle so you can go all day looking fresh as a daisy.

You will never lose this bright fuchsia textured-leather wallet on a chain in your bag.

This mustard pleated silk crepe de chine midi shirt dress is the perfect dress to take you into fall when it’s still warm.

I love the unusual shape of this blue medium suede shoulder bag.

This fuchsia satin top looks like the perfect going out blouse for fall.

This leather crossbody bag would be a great pop of red with a grey coat this fall.

This is Gathered Bodice Flare Dress is another beautiful shade of green for a ladies lunch or business meeting.

This fuchsia bag with feathers will add pizzazz to any outfit.

Pair this blue Wrap Pencil Skirt with the same color or darker shades to take it into fall.

This yellow phone bag would be perfect for walking the dog or a quick trip to the grocery store. I could have used this for my mental health walks in 2020.

I’d pair this pair of fuchsia wide leg essential pants with a blue buttondown shirt. Side note, I’m getting better at spelling fuchsia now. LOL.

Channel Yves Klein with this top-handle bag in leather.

Pair this Shoulder Button Sweater Tee with the Wrap Pencil Skirt above or layer it under all your fall blazers.

You can use this red leather handbag as a clutch too.

Pair this thistle sheer organza blend shirt with a high waist skirt.

I love this the idea of pairing this mint colored intrecciato leather tote with mustard yellow and fuchsia.

I’d pair a Forever Sweater with this chartreuse skirt too.

This blue crystal-embellished satin clutch would look great with the skirt above and dress below.

This magenta Collection Carolyn slip dress in luster crepe is limited-edition so don’t snooze on it. You can wear it alone or under a blazer for cooler evenings. It’s also available in a sunflower yellow color.

This butter yellow intrecciato leather shoulder bag could be paired with any color too.
