How to Style White Jeans for Fall 2020

The weather in New York usually stays warm until October so you can definitely wear white jeans past Labor Day if you style them for the season. That means putting away your pastels and straw beach bags and replacing them with neutrals, darker colors, and heavier fabrics. It’s the time to start wearing camel, suede, and cashmere so you look appropriate for city life and Zoom calls. I’ve styled a few outfits to help get you started.

One thing I’ve tried to do since this pandemic started is be cognizant of the prices of some of the things I post. I make it a point to include lower priced items like this camel wool coat at $228 from a retailer who usually offers extra discounts. It looks just as chic as some of the higher priced camel coats I’ve seen this fall.

I know I’ve already posted this $75 cashmere sweater but it really is an amazing deal for a high quality cashmere sweater. I’ve already bought three colors and I may have to buy camel and oatmeal next. Don’t forget they offer them for men too.

The way to go with jeans now is high rise like these white high-rise skinny jeans.

Sneakers are the new heels these days and I’ve been loving Adidas lately and especially these 70s inspired leather and suede sneakers.

It’s almost scarf weather and this plaid scarf is a great deal at $17.99.

I am beginning to think that hobo bags are the perfect shape for these days. They fit a lot but aren’t as work oriented as a tote bag. I especially love this large suede and leather shoulder bag.

Long time readers will remember my love of grey and double faced wool coats. This charcoal grey double faced wool coat is definitely calling my name this fall.

These Curvy High-Rise Skinny Jeans are on sale and you can take another 40% off with the code HOWNICE. How nice indeed!

I’ve never met a snakeskin shoe I didn’t like and I really love these snake-effect leather loafers. I always think the colors work so well with fall clothing.

Another great plaid scarf for $17.99.

This great oversized hobo comes in six different colors for fall.

You can feel as chic as Gwyneth Paltrow in the Gwyneth belted wool-felt coat named after her. I love the rust color for autumn leaf peeping.

It’s just about sweater weather and this oatmeal Structured Shoulder Cable Knit Sweater would be perfect with jeans for Zoom calls and apple picking.

These cropped high-rise skinny jeans are perfect for pairing with sneakers and flats.

I like a fashion sneaker like these leopard trimmed sneakers instead of athletic sneakers when I want to look pulled together but feel comfortable.

This houndstooth scarf is also $17.99 too.

This zipper satchel is very versatile. It can be worn as a handbag, shoulder bag, or cross body with the included strap. It also comes in six colors.

I always think of neutrals for fall but I love the green color of this herringbone wool double-breasted blazer.

The Curvy toothpick jean in my favorite style so of course it’s also perfect in white.

These essential leather sneakers remind me of my favorite pair from Zespa but at a much better price.

I love tying a silk scarf around my neck like this printed silk twill scarf when the weather chills but it’s not yet cold enough for a cashmere scarf.

This color block camera bag with detachable strap is way to inject a little color into your neutral fall wardrobe.

I have started going out more in the city and I find myself wanting to get dressed up after wearing loungewear for months. This leopard-print linen and cotton-blend coat is a great pick me up and it’s a great price at $345.

New Yorkers never tire of wearing black so I also had go buy the $75 cashmere sweater in black.

These mid-rise skinny jeans are perfect for wearing out to dinner.

I’ve seen some women wearing heels in the city but I’ll stick to flats like these black Gucci loafers so I can walk where ever I need to go.

I couldn’t get through fall without my Heidi Wynne cashmere scarves in all the colors but especially black for evening.

Sometimes you just have to splurge during this pandemic. My purchase might have to be this Khaite Envelope Pleat suede shoulder bag that can also be carried as a clutch for dinners outside.

Bon weekend!

XOXO,

HC
