I had a chance to visit her showroom last month and I can attest that each piece is beautifully made in Italian fabrics and her signature fil coupé which is a weaving technique that creates a delicate fringe on the top of the fabric. The dresses and tops look both classic and freshly modern. Sustainability is very important to Danielle from the mother of pearl buttons she sources to cotton fabrics that don’t require dry cleaning. Every item is also produced locally in New York’s historic garment district by highly skilled tailors with decades of expertise. The collection is so great that the Four Seasons took notice and now carries pieces in some of its resort shops. I’m taking a dress to Miami and I can’t wait to wear it this week while enjoying my own warm weather trip.
