Every fall, I try to put off wearing boots as long as possible since I know I’ll be wearing them until March. There are much colder temperatures forecast for this weekend and even possible snow flurries coming soon so I don’t think I can put them off much longer. I’ve been adding a few new boots to my cold weather wardrobe and if you need some too, I’ve put together a few of my favorites to help get you started.
These waterproof boots will keep you dry on wet days without sacrificing style. They also come in suede.
These are an all around great brown boots to wear with jeans. They also come in tan and black.
These iconic Isabel Marant suede ankle boots are always a great choice.
Suede boots are always more comfortable than leather and this style comes in three other colors and leopard.
For a night out, I love these leopard boots. They also come in black, tan, and red.
These rose glitter booties would be a fun wardrobe edition for the holidays and New Year’s Eve.
The lower heel makes these red leather boots a more walkable option. They also come in white if you want to be more fashion forward.
Velvet elevates these kitten heel booties that I have my eye on buying myself for winter.
When I was at the TEFAF press and VIP preview recently, a lot of women were wearing suede over the knee boots. They look great with flippy tweed skirts and dresses. They also come in brown.
There is nothing I love to wear more with below the knee skirts and dresses in cold weather than stacked heel boots. These are such a great color but they also come in black and faux snakeskin.
These red slouchy knee high boots would look great with patterned dresses.
These “cherry cola” colored knee high boots are a chic style at a great price.
These shearling lace up boots would look great on a ski trip or when it snows in the city.
I just bought these sherpa-lined chelsea boots in suede but I might exchange them for a pair that’s a half size larger. They are super cozy and warm for cold weather. They also come in black.
These are another great pair of Nordic boots for mountain trips and snowy days. They also come in black and another color that seems to be sold out.
The best waterproof boots I’ve ever owned were from Sorel. These Joan of Arctic boots are practical enough for jumping puddles and chic enough for the slopes.
