I usually stay at the Hotel Drisco when I visit San Francisco and last year I stayed at the Four Seasons. I’m hoping to return to San Francisco this fall to celebrate the publication of the book The Curated Home by my dear friend Grant K. Gibson and might give the new Proper Hotel a chance. I’m on the fence if the Kelly Wearstler designed hotel looks too young and hipster for me but at the very least, I will try the Villon restaurant in the hotel that looks insanely chic.
