From Napa with Love

Alexis Swanson Traina’s book From Napa with Love arrived after my trip to Napa which was a shame since it’s the best insider guide to wine country. Alexis and her husband Trevor Traina grew up visiting Napa Valley so they are definitely experts and advocates for the area recently affected by the California wildfires. Luckily, their new house designed by Ken Fulk was spared and now it can be seen in the February 2018 issue of Vogue. The interiors are charming and casual and full of fun patterns for the family of four. It makes me want to book another trip and now that I have my guide, I will know all the good places to visit.

It’s a bit odd because I was just going through Vogue and came across “Happy Valley” of Hamish Bowles and witnessed only a few images. Needless to say, pictorially it is covered much more thoroughly in Habitually Chic. Thanks for all the images and happy (early) weekend!
This house is colorful and lived-in, yet impossibly chic. One of my favorites!
