Style and Substance

I was sitting at a cafe with a friend earlier this week when we both remarked that it was beginning to feel like fall.  Not only has the temperature dropped but the leaves are already falling off the trees.  Each morning, a man from Mairie de Paris sweeps them up along the park outside my window and each evening it is covered again. Of course this has me thinking of fall fashions.
I’m very excited that I return to New York just in time to receive the September issue of WSJ.Magazine with Daria Werbowy on the cover. It will be included in the Wall Street Journal newspaper on Saturday, August 16th.  The accompanying autumn inspired spread has me even more excited for neutrals, jeans and jackets.  Too bad it will still be oppressively hot when I return to New York.

C’est la vie.

Heather it is that time when Fall Fashions look so enticing, yet the weather here is not going to be cooling off for a month or two! Love looking though!

I usually hate any mention of fall this time of year, but your shots have me yearning… just a bit. Such elegant simplicity.

While there are no physical signs of autumn returning in Dallas (it’s 100 each day at the moment), my thoughts are certainly turning to cooler temps. Love the fashion focus of these images. Fur, dark dyed denim and pretty blouses… three of my favorite things!
