I’ve been hearing about the new line Trademark for a few weeks but finally checked out their website today. I’m impressed by the initial collection from sisters Alexandra and Louisa Burch which was inspired by American minimalist design.  The look is a mix of chic but not boring basics that are reasonably priced with the most expensive pieces topping out around $500.  I especially love the Lucite bangles that remind me of my Lanvin bracelets but at a much better price. A few other things I like aren’t available online yet so I’m hoping they will be soon.  Or maybe I will be able to find them once their store opens this April at 95 Grand Street downtown.  There is also a men’s line in the works too. In case you don’t know, Alexandra and Louisa are the daughters of Christopher Burch and step-daughters of Tory Burch. While they learned the ropes from their family, the duo joked that maybe they didn’t ask for enough help from them but it looks like they’re doing pretty well so far.
