Chic in New York: Ladurée Soho

One of the best things about Paris, besides Paris itself, is Ladurée. While they did open a Ladurée uptown in New York, we did not have a Ladurée tea salon until this week. It is located on West Broadway in Soho in the space formally occupied by the restaurant Barolo who had a large patio. I couldn’t quite see past the chic opening party crowd Tuesday night, but it does look like there might be some trees and outdoor space beyond the French doors in the back. Many French friends of Ladurée also came out to fete the new space including Frederic Fekkai and Giles Bensimon, as well as Jenna Lyons of J.Crew. I highly recommend a visit the next time you’re downtown.

I still remember our teatime we had at Laduree in Paris. Yummy!
It’ll never be the real thing (Paris loc) but it’s as close as we’ll get in America. I’ll take it! xo
I was just in Paris and thoroughly enjoyed the Laduree pastries! I’ll have to visit the location in NYC when I’m there next!
