Unplugged
by habituallychic
04 . 01 . 13I spent this weekend unplugged, well mostly unplugged, and it was wonderful. I feel like I need more weekends like this to recharge my batteries and preferably outside of the city. I found the beautiful image above on Pinterest and after a little research found out it’s from Locusts-on-Hudson, a fabulous property owned by André Balazs with an equally fabulous history. It’s also a popular location for weddings. I think I’ll call ahead to make sure there aren’t any scheduled when I plan to visit so I can have a really quiet weekend to unplug.

Dream-like. Love the minimalist design. Do they allow dogs to sleep on the bed?
Happy Spring.

I agree, once in a while it is so lovely to just unplug and escape for a while. I feel like the only time my husband does it is when we are out of the country! Glad you did it and I am certain it was super enjoyable! As they say, “you were kickin it old school” and I think we all need to do it periodically to recharge our batteries. Oh and the property, well, it is pretty gorgeous! Best, Beth
