Casual Chic

04 . 19 . 13Since I work for myself and don’t go to an office everyday, I don’t need to dress up unless I have a meeting. My daily go to “uniform” always revolves around dark jeans paired with a blouse or blazer. This has been working especially well since the weather is not yet warm enough for dresses. As you can see from these lovely ladies, it’s a popular look. Of course, pairing it with a Birkin doesn’t hurt.
Bon Weekend!

Happy birthday for yesterday!!!! Hope you had an amazing day.
Hi Heather. Great go to “uniform”–blonds must be in this year: there are 12 “blonds” to 3 “brunettes”–must change my color right now.
Happy Spring.

Love this look!
Heather,
A wonderfully pulled together look. Right now we still need a jacket so the blazer with jeans and a tee or shirt is perfect!

Thank you for these photos – these ladies give the look a unique little detail. I’ve only recently managed to get this look for myself and I’m so happy!
As I work from my home..I wear the above everyday(appointments are different)
thanks. A great bag never hurts! xxpeggybraswelldesign.com
Getting dress always becomes much easier when you start with the classics as a base. Then one can mix things up with accessories, combining colors and pattern mixing. Yes, a Birkin bag would be lovely. It is certainly on my list.
Happy belated birthday, Heather. This is my daily dress too. I work for an old technology company that recently decided that to invigorate and spur innovation, the dress code was changed to jeans. 🙂
So this is the formula I have refined for myself as a middled-aged professional. Interestingly, when I was wearing dress pants, I might have only worn a blouse with them. But with jeans, I feel like I need to add a blazer or cardigan to dress them up.
I have lost a bit of weight wearing the more body-conscious bottoms.
I have the awesome “Nora” J Crew leopard flats. Alas, not the Birkin.
