Three Outfits in Wear in NYC this Spring

I think a lot of people forget that it can stay chilly in many places through the month of May, sometimes even June. But there are often huge fluctuations in temperature so you need to be prepared for anything. I saw snow on the weather forecast for yesterday morning and it might be close to 70 degrees later this week. This calls for layers so I put together three outfits to help you figure out what to wear if you are visiting NYC.

If you are planning lunch followed by a museum visit, this outfit has you covered. The Wool Check Boyfriend Blazer just arrived and there are so many colors in the fabric that the outfit combinations are endless. It runs a little big but the Fine Stripe Shirt runs a little small so you might want to size check the dimensions before you order your size. If it’s very chilly, wear the Navy Cashmere Sweater over the shirt or throw it over your shoulders when the day warms up.

The Chambray Tailoring Tapered Pants are a chic alternative to jeans when you need to be a little more dressed up. The Brown Suede Loafers are comfortable and chic for walking around The Met.

I’ve posted this Crossbody Bag in red before but I also love it in this eau de nil shade. It’s one of my favorite colors. It also perfectly matches the Aqua Woven iPhone Case I own. The Gold Plated Pearl Hoop Earrings are a great finishing touch.

I’m still obsessed with the Regime des Fleurs perfumes and I ended up buying Là Bas this weekend. Someone commented on how good I smelled before I even left the store which makes me realize I made the right decision. I was out with jewelry designer Ana Mara Ortega who was in town this weekend and now she’s obsessed with them too.

If you plan to go for a walk in Central Park this spring, make sure you check the forecast or wear a Trench Coat just in case.

We are definitely in the crazy weather season now so you may want to carry Sunglasses and an Umbrella with you. It’s still sweater weather but you may want to switch to this Chunky Cotton Curved Hem Sweater. I’d add a White Cotton T-Shirt underneath in case you get overheated and need to take off the sweater.

One way to lighten up your fall and winter clothes for spring is to pair them with White Jeans. Long walks call for chic Italian Leather and Suede Sneakers. For hands free power walking, I love this red Gucci Webbing Strap Textured-leather Shoulder Bag.

I would pair this walking in the park outfit with Rock River Melody perfume since it has the description, “Like stepping into a humid, herbaceous greenhouse, this fragrance is a muddy ride on horseback in a sparkling green Fontainebleau forest”.

A magazine editor wore this grey Double-breasted Wool-blend Twill Blazer and matching Wool-Flannel Wide Leg Pants and looked very chic. She paired it during the day with a White Cotton T-Shirt but for evening out at the new 425 Restaurant, you could wear the matching Cropped Wool-twill Vest with the jacket drapped over your shoulders.

She paired the suit with silver jewelry from Agmes which looked very fresh. I’d suggest the Recycled Silver Pearl Earrings and Large Recycled Sterling Silver Cuff.

For other accessories, I love the Origami Padded Snake-effect Leather Clutch and unexpected white Crinkled Leather Slingback Pumps.

The Al-Dukhan scent would be perfect for a sexy evening scent. It was my second favorite perfume from Regime des Fleurs.

Happy Daylight Saving Day! We made it!

XOXO,
