Holiday Giveaway: Ex Voto Vintage
by habituallychic
12 . 03 . 12I may not have gotten any gift guides up yet but I do have a holiday giveaway for you. Ex Voto Vintage is generously offering one lucky Habitually Chic reader their Minny Necklace with Laurel Locket. The necklace was named after their friend Octavia Spencer’s “Minny” character from the film The Help. Octavia wore this necklace on several occasions when promoting the movie and now it can be yours.
To enter, please “like” Ex Voto Vintage on their Facebook page and leave a comment under this post saying if you will keep the necklace for yourself or give it away as a gift. Anyone who emails me directly will be disqualified. Please note that the locket will not be engraved. One entry per person through 11:59pm on Friday, December 7, 2012. A winner will be announced on Saturday, December 8, 2012. Good luck!
This giveaway has ended and Jennifer Newman has won. Good luck next time to everyone else!

Beautiful necklace – great for the holidays!
I’d be giving it to my daughter – who I cannot believe is turning 16 tomorrow!!! – sorry, just struggling to understand how we got her so fast – anyway, she is a great and deserving kid who loves vintage. I am headed to their website right now for a back-up.

Love the Minny Necklace with Laurel Locket giveaway on Habitually Chic. I have a new son. If I were to win this lovely piece, I would put his picture in it. I am back at work, and he’s changing by the day, so it would be a nice reminder of little Max, not to mention a great additon to my back-to-work wardrobe!

Naturally, I believe the necklace would make a beautiful gift to any one of the strong women I know. But the truth is, I’ll probably keep it for myself and where it as a constant reminder of inner strength. Happy holidays!
I would give it to a friend who lost her dog, inside I would have a small image of her dog Oscar. Yes, I liked on facebook. I also did not e-mail you.

This is like love at first sight!!! I would keep this one for our family. I ‘ve got 2 beautiful teenager, hope can share this beautiful necklace with them.
I’m torn… At first I thought to give it to my daughter, but then wonder whether it would be more appreciated handed down from me, so she could continue the tradition. Either way, I’d like to give it to my daughter – as it looks like a beautiful, meaningful gesture.
I will give this beautiful necklace to my husband to wrap up for me for Christmas! He cannot shop and this necklace would be a perfect way for him to put something under the tree that is a wonderful gift for me to open. I hope I win! Great give-away!

Love the necklace and its connection to Minnie and “The Help”. I’m a bit challenged on who would get to enjoy it. I have a very special mother in her twilight years, two grown daughters and I can’t resist throwing my name in the hat. Perhaps it should start with the first generation and be passed down. Lovely.
