Wonderful images–love all the details. The statue holding the pillow cracks me up. Thanks for a laugh out loud Monday moment.

Heather, as soon as I saw the statuette of the Satyr holding up the cushion, I chuckled. It reminds my of every Thanksgiving at my mom and dad’s. She has a statuette of Michelangelo’s David on her bookshelf that sits by the dining table and my brother and I always sneak Barbie clothes on him! (yes, she still has all of my old Barbie clothes in her basement…don’t ask). At some point during the dinner, someone will see “David in a dress” and start giggling, at which point Mom spots him and says, “Oh you guys!” (we’re Midwesterners). Thanks for the memory!!
