Twinsies

I think every weekend house should include a guest room with twin beds.  They’re perfect for kids and also adults who need to share a room but I also love how they look.  While this room was designed by Tammy Connor for the Hamptons Designer Show House but it would look just as good in any of the lake houses I posted Friday.  It was definitely one of my favorite rooms and I love that she incorporate linens and furniture from my sponsor Serena & Lily
On Friday, I received an email from a reader who was a little bored by my coverage of the Hamptons Designer Show House last week.  I’d just like to remind everyone that these designers spent a lot of time and money to participate and deserve our support.

This is my favorite room at the house….really well conceived and executed.
And bravo to you Heather, for supporting (and defending) the designers.

I’m glad you are supporting other fellow designers and I love getting new sources of inspiration that are not everywhere on pinterest. So thank you! I love this room….the walls they look like fabric? or are they wallpaper?

This room is beautiful and looks so comfortable. I like the welcoming touch like the books on the bed. I like the bed frames too. Very nice and welcoming room.

    Heather,
KEEP ON POSTING ON THE HAMPTONS DESIGNER SHOW HOUSE, whatever you do is good.
If the lady doesnt like it she doesnt have to read the post its as simple as the click of a button and check in next time.
I personally love a post on every room day by day. I simpley could not read it all in one post and look forward the the next installment each day.
In Austraila we dont’ have such a thing as Designer Show houses and the quality of the work is amazing.
I love every minute you have taken to write the text and every photo you post I lap up like warm milk to a kitten.
The only way we on the other side of the world get to see such beautiful work is through people like you.
    Keep up the great work.
Im checking in everyday and until there are no rooms left.
    Warm wishes,
    Daryl Wark

Hi Heather, I want to echo the other comments. I personally love seeing what designers across the country are creating in show houses as it gives me an eye into new trends and what I need to be scoping for my shop. I love the details of the antique child’s. Thank you! Mary
