Hamptons Designer Show House: Entry
by habituallychic
07 . 23 . 12It was a nice surprise walking into the Hamptons Designer Show House and seeing that interior designer Lee W. Robinson decorated the entry. He also did an amazing job. You might remember that I visited Lee’s shop in Louisville, KY and many southern accents have made it into his space. As have equestrian elements like horse themed art, a vintage Hermes scarf, and horse bits on the standing screen. The rug even reminds me of the jockey’s riding silks at the Derby. And of course I love the accents of orange. Riders up!

Absolutely gorgeous! Love the color palette, the greek key details, the equestrian art, those stripes!
Great photos, Heather. Thanks especially for the stair carpet details – love it.
Have a good week,

Love the rugs but could never do them. Mom has a rotten knee and trips. My 2 dearest lady friends walk with canes and trip easily.
My Conservatory has front entry with steps and a side entry with long sloped path. Had to get my dear lady friends into it !!
But what a FUN space. So many happy things for the eye to land upon.

Stunning as everything Lee Robinson does.
Lee is a brilliant designer. We’re lucky to have him in Louisville. He is a banker ~ turned designer, who has a passion. He and his wife have turned his own home into a masterpiece, that will take your breath!!
