NYFW Spring 2012: Fenton at The Four Seasons
by habituallychic
09 . 10 . 11I was familiar with the Fenton and Fallon jewelry lines but it was Twitter that personally introduced me to the designer behind them, Dana Lorenz. Her impeccable taste and style was on full display at her Spring 2012 presentation for the Fenton collection at The Four Seasons restaurant on Friday. It was the perfect chic backdrop for the unbelievably gorgeous new pieces full of pastel shades and strong shapes. The inspiration started with artwork of Cecily Brown and continued to the colors and curves of the Art Deco architecture of Miami. The models dressed in ivory ensembles gave life to the jewelry unlike most jewelry press previews. Also gave me an idea of how some of those fabulous necklaces might look on me next spring. Wonder if Dana offers a Twitter followers discount!
