Luxe Loft Living
by habituallychic
11 . 29 . 10You’d probably be surprised to learn that the owner of the traditional home I wrote about in my last post also owns this modern loft in Montreal. Of course, she filled it with more of her fabulous French furniture so you barely notice that there are no architectural details. Another example of thinking outside the white box.

I LOVE this home! I am a big fan of gaudy gold chandeliers dripping in crystals… I count 6 in this home!!! Love that… also, those bright red velvet chairsare amazing against all of the creams and whites in the space! thanks for sharing!

Oh Heather, you are killing me with the red chairs. Really, both residences are perfect. Such great inspiration. Thanks for sharing!
Good Morning, Heather!
Did you ever came to visit Montreal? I live in Canada and one of my favorite cities here is Montreal. If you’ve never come to Montreal, you really need to. Obviously isn’t that far from NY and it’s a “world” apart at the same time. I especially LOVE the “OLD MONTREAL, with so many cafes “a la Paris”, many art galleries, and very friendly & chic people. To stay, since you’re single, you should try the Hotel St. Paul. It’s a boutique hotel, with a great night life and load of gorgeous men, wonderful rooms (super stylish), and amazing room-service. If you want a “cozier” place, you should try “Place D’Arms. Yet another gorgeous place.
I am sure you come back to NY so inspired and with some good memories. 🙂
And yes, this post is extraordinary too! 🙂
Have a great week!
