A Night Off
by habituallychic
11 . 15 . 10After a lovely weekend, I’ve decided to take a night off. Of course, I can’t leave my blog readers high and dry so I’m posting one of my all time favorite interiors. This drawing room was designed by Billy Baldwin for long time clients Kitty and Gilbert Miller’s London home. Except for the flowers and the round pillows, it really does look like it could have been designed today.

those images are gorgeous!!
You are so right on! This room does look today!
I like the cyclamen on the tray table..do like some greenery, fresh and alive in the living room.
Love this room.
Totally agree. This is stunning. Dare I admit that I don’t mind the round pillows and the baby’s breath?!
Did you read the new book by Adam Lewis? I thought it was rather well done, except in places where it seemed as if the editors decided that no one was going to read it straight through. (I did. I am a geek.) After reading that book and spending time with Mr. Baldwin’s own two books, I felt that many of his rooms look like they could have been done today; this one especially. He was an amazing talent. Thanks for sharing!
Love your blog! XX Nicky
I own one of Billy Baldwin’s vintage books, and I adore it… AND HIM! Thanks for featuring these photos. He is truly a master!
