Gone Shoppin’

I know my posts this week have been short and I apologize. I was joking with friends tonight that I was going to hang a sign on the blog that said Gone Shoppin’ since I’ve been taking advantage of many of the great sales going on in the city this week. Hence the new Roger Vivier sandals. (Sorry Stefan!) I’ve also been running around for work and enjoying the beautiful sunny weather. I promise that things will be back to normal next week and possibly better since I have a great announcement and some fabulous people, places and things to profile! Bon Weekend!

I totally know how you feel…Here in CT its like back to back with the AMAZING sales…this weekend its Darien, next is Greenwich and New Canaan…everything is on super sale, it is hard to concentrate on anything else. Hope you get lots of fun stuff!

ADORABLE shoes! Do you mind if I ask how much you got them for?

Also, what color nail polish is that on your toes?

  3. Habitually Chic July 10, 2009 | 3:17 am

Chic Coles – I know! The sales are amazing! Hope you got some good stuff too!

Amanda – I won’t tell you the exact price but I can tell you that they were half off at Bergdorf Goodman. My new favorite pedicure color is Essie Real Simple topped with one coat of Potato Fields.

Essie Eternal Optimist is my new favorite!

I am going to try your combo! Thanks for the reply!

Those shoes are insanely gorgeous. My problem is all I ever like to buy are shoes. The problem is that I never have anything to wear with them!

Hmmm…. maybe I missed it but I don’t recall you telling us about new employment. I do recall disappointed layoff postings. Are you running your own company ? Have you scored a new job? Do tell…

OK, so you have rather lovely feet to go with your fabulous sandals. And yes, you now need a large floating vessel as an accessory.

Who knew one little pair of sandals could elicit such a response! I actually had a woman start up a conversation with me while I was waiting to cross the street in New York! Bruno Frisoni sure does know how to design a good pair of shoes!

To answer Ms. Smart who asked about work, I have started my own company! It feels good to be my own boss and I am in the middle of a big project on the UWS right now. I am also working on a website which is why I haven’t formally announced it yet. Thanks for asking!

  33. Alicia July 12, 2009 | 5:56 am

Sandalicious!!!!!!! Every woman needs her alone with shoes time.
