Spring and Summer Shoes and Sandals

04 . 28 . 24One of my Instagram followers messaged me about sandals last week. She was having trouble finding something she liked for summer so I said I’d work on a post. I hope more styles are coming this summer because I had a hard time finding anything really exciting and most sandals out right now are very bare. I did try to stay with flat sandals or those with a very low heels since they work well for every day and for travel. I also think they work better when it’s hot and your feet start to swell from walking. This is my first pass at sandals and one shoe style that are sandal adjacent but I’ll keep looking as we move farther into the summer season.
As I mentioned, many sandals are very bare this year. If you don’t mind this look, you will have a lot of options like these nude Leather Sandals. They also come in gold and black.
The white Knotted Sandals also come in turquoise.
There are a lot of K Jacques Sandals to choose from right now so get them before they are gone. The tan Leather Thong Sandals will be your summer workhorse sandals that you can wear everywhere.
The middle gold Metallic Snake-effect Leather Sandals are very chic and would be a great option if you need a flat sandal for an outdoor wedding or other event. They also come in black suede and white leather. These might be one of my favorite pairs.
The gold Metallic Leather Sandals on the right would be great for your summer trip to Italy.
These tan Embellished Leather Sandals are another favorite for the city. They are also available in black leather.
I also love the tan Leather Sandals on the right which come in black and cream as well.
The black Satin Sandals on the left can go from day to night.
The black Leather Sandals in the middle are from the cool girl brand Khaite and are already selling out. You can find more sizes and tan and white here. I also like the Strappy Sandals too.
The black Suede Sandals on the right are a great less expensive option also available in brown suede.
I could only find a few pairs of great colored sandals so far and will continue to look for these too.
The aqua Leather Song Sandals are chic and also come in blush, black, and white.
The silvery blue Flat Satin Knot Sandals also come in black and red, as well as silvery blue and white kitten heel Satin Knot Sandals.
The baby pink Gucci Horsebit Leather Slingback Sandals would work with dresses and jeans.
I consider yellow a summer neutral and would wear these yellow Wrap Sandals would work well with white, navy, light blue, pink, orange, green, and neutrals.
Prada is the hottest brand right now so I wouldn’t snooze on these orange Satin Sandals if you like them.
The black Leather Crisscross Slingback Sandals are one of the hot styles this summer.
You can get the look for less with these yellow Suede Slingback Sandals and brown Suede Slingback Sandals.
If you need a low heel for a garden party or other event, I like these copper Metallic Mules.
Another cool girl shoe this summer are these Toteme Croc-effect Leather Sandals. Another kitten heel sandal I like that’s not pictured is the Patent Leather Mule.
The beige Leather Sandals on the right would go with any patterned dress this summer.
For chilly spring and summer days or for those of you who don’t like to bare your toes, there are a lot of these chic woven styles from which to choose right now. They would work with jeans or skirts and dresses.
I love that the toes are covered on the top pairs of white and black woven ballet flats. For those more daring, they also come in a multicolored style.
You could wear the Woven Raffia Ballet Flats with the strap or tuck it under your foot. You could also cut it off.
The dark tan Woven Ballet Flats also come in black and would look great with jeans.
The bottom gold Woven Flats would work with any outfit too.
As I was finishing this post, I also came across these less open Woven Ballerinas that come in ivory, camel, green, and gold that aren’t pictured.
