Planning my Spring Outfits with a Camel Coat

Because my hair is honey caramel colored, I’ve had a very hard time finding a camel coat that doesn’t make me look like the same color from head to toe. I finally found one that is the perfect shade of camel and the only thing getting me through winter and the pandemic now is planning what I will wear with it this spring. Since it felt like my internal organs were being crushed the last time I wore high waisted jeans, I have decided to invest in joggers with matching sweaters and sweatshirts. I will pair them with sneakers for my walks in Central Park. Crossbody bags are great for dining al fresco so you don’t have to worry about putting a handbag on the ground. Now I just need the weather to warm up.

This camel belted wool-felt coat would look good unbelted as well

I didn’t wear any black last year because it seemed too depressing. Now that things are more open in NYC, I bought this cotton cashmere crewneck pullover and matching jogger pants.

I’ve never worn lounge pants or sweats outside before but I think these cotton-cashmere jogger pants are a chic alternative to tight jeans. They are also available in three other colors.

These Reebok Victoria Beckham sneakers just arrived this weekend and I can’t wait to wear them with this outfit. They come in two other colorways as well.

I added the Celine Classic Teen Bag this winter and I look forward to using it this spring since the strap is a little too short to fit over my heavy winter coats as a crossbody bag.

I’m already thinking about buying myself these signature Celine Aviators as my birthday present to myself this April.

I just had a Clear + Brilliant laser treatment on Friday and my skin is looking refreshed but Dr. Barbara Sturm Glow Drops are also helpful when you want your skin to glow too.

This Joseph belted wool and cashmere-blend coat is another great double-faced wool option.

I really love the look of matching sweats under a nice coat and nothing is more iconic than pale grey sweats like this cloud fleece funnelneck sweatshirt.

The matching cloud fleece pull-on jogger pants are perfect for walking in the park.

The Nike Daybreak sneaker is one of my favorite styles since they come in so many different color combinations. These come in over ten different ones.

This Modern Saddle Bag is another great crossbody option for long walks in the city.

These oversized wire-frame sunglasses are a more reasonably priced alternative to the Celine Aviators.

I used to love La Mer The Concentrate and they’ve improved the formula so it’s even better for your skin now.

I love the detail on the sleeve of this Max Mara camel double-faced wool coat.

You know how much I love charcoal grey so I’m thinking of buying this waffle crewneck pullover which would look great with camel.

I also love the pocket detail on the matching waffle jogger pants.

These Nike DBreak Sneakers are technically men’s but women can size down 1.5 sizes. I wear a size 7 in women’s shoes and a 5.5 in men’s. They were sold out so I ordered the size 6 and they are just a tad too big. I thought they would be perfect for spring with my grey coat too.

I’d wear my Mark Cross Crossbody Bag with this outfit but this Marni color-block textured-leather shoulder bag is another great option.

I feel like wearing tortoiseshell sunglasses like these round-frame tortoiseshell acetate polarized sunglasses this spring,

Maskne is no joke so I just started using this SkinCeuticals Blemish + Age Defense Serum and I feel like it’s working already.

I like the darker shade of camel of this belted wool-blend felt coat. It also comes in a very pretty light blue color and black.

The $75 Cashmere Sweater is perfect for when you want to elevate your loungewear look. It’s also available in 13 other colors.

There’s nothing more perfect for this pandemic than cashmere sweatpants.

I should be cut off from buying any more sneakers this spring because these Nike Daybreak Sneakers in this Light Orewood Brown/Black/Light Arctic Pink/Metallic Red Bronze color combination but there are plenty of others from which to choose.

This lighter canvas camera bag is a great change from your heavier leather bags for spring.

I love the lighter look of these round-frame acetate sunglasses for spring too.

Since we are all spending more time outside, we should protect our skin against the environment with this Chantecaille Anti-Pollution Finishing Essence.

If you’re going to splurge on one thing, make it this Max Mara Icon belted camel hair coat that you will have forever.

Navy is a great color for spring and especially this navy hoodie in featherweight cashmere.

If joggers aren’t your style, try these matching wide-leg sweatpants in featherweight cashmere.

I had a gift card to Net-a-Porter last year so I bought these Khaite + adidas Originals suede sneakers in black but I love them in navy too. They’re very chic and comfortable.

I really love red with camel and I am still lusting over this Celine Medium Triomphe bag in polished calfskin in raspberry.

These oversized cat-eye tortoiseshell acetate sunglasses coordinate perfectly with the bag without being matchy matchy.

The latest Augustinus Bader product is The Face Oil. I haven’t tried it yet but I’m sure it’s perfect for getting skin ready for spring.

Happy almost Spring!

XOXO,
