Cozy Knit Season with ME+EM

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, my favorite thing about ME+EM, is how many of their pieces you can mix and match to create multiple outfits and their October Collection is no different. It’s full of cozy knits and gorgeous coats to get you ready for colder weather, weather that feels just around the corner in New York. I’ve put three outfits together and included suggestions on how can create more looks from them.

Long time followers know my love of grey for fall and winter so I can’t wait to add this Merino Cashmere Cropped Sweater + Snood and Merino Cashmere Rib A-Line Skirt to my wardrobe. I’m still loving knit sets since they feel so comfortable and look so chic. This sweater has a removable turtleneck so you can wear it to work multiple times a week in different ways and no one will be the wiser. In addition, you can swap out the skirt for these Flannel High-Waisted Wide-Leg Pants or Herringbone Super-Wide Culottes which are a great alternative to a skirt.

While the 70s Knee High Boots come in black, I love the olive color which is a more unexpected color choice and it coordinates with the olive and black Angled Crossbody Bag. When the temperature really drops, add on the Merino Cashmere Chunky Fisherman Rib Beanie and Merino Cashmere Chunky Fisherman Rib Scarf.

To top everything off, I love the Herringbone Town-To-Country Coat.

This Merino Cashmere Crop Sweater + Snood and the matching Merino Cashmere Rib A-Line Skirt in deep cabernet is such a beautiful color for colder weather. It’s also a great day to night color.

You could also swap out the knit skirt for the Flannel High-Waisted Wide-Leg Pants or Herringbone Super-Wide Culottes or these chic Puppytooth High-Waisted Flared Man Pants.

For those worries about knits showing everything, the sweater over the skirt hides any problem areas. You can also add the matching Smooth Leather Belt to highlight your waist.

For this outfit, I would add the black 70s Knee High Boots but the Angled Crossbody Bag also works with this look as well.

ME+EM has some very luxurious coats and this black Reversible Shearling Longline Coat should definitely be added to your cart before it sells out. It’s also available in chocolate brown.

I love a top and bottom that match since I find it elongating but you don’t always have to match them. For this outfit, I’d start with the Ultra-Soft Lofty Cashmere Crop Sweater. On very cold days, the Cashmere Barely There Layering Sweater is a great piece to put on first, especially under dresses. A great alternative to a skirt are these black Wool Super Wide Culottes but the Relaxed Tapered Turn-Up Pants can also work.

The same black 70s Knee High Boots from above would be perfect with the culottes. I’d also add the camel Cashmere Balaclava and Alpaca-Blend Chunky Scarf.

The camel Longline Coat is the perfect fall winter coat for any outfit.

Hope these cozy knit outfits get you excited for colder weather.

XOXO,

HC
