There is nothing more exciting than finding a beautiful chateau in France that is also available to rent.

Chateau d’Hebertot is an enchanting place in the heart of Normandy. A property rich in history, the first part of which was built by the family of the Knights of Nollent in the 17th century. This exceptional residence is situated on the site of an old manor house, belonging to the Dukes of Normandy nestled in a green setting invites visitors to be treated to a royal experience. William the Conqueror, Henry I, Henry II, Richard the Lionhearted, and especially John Lackland are said to have stayed here but now the entire property is equipped with all modern comforts while retaining its beautiful traditional interiors.

The estate consists of a vast enclosure planted with centuries-old avenues, bower and grove. It is in the heart of a park with waterfalls, surrounded by all the splendors of the great feudal residences that Noam Chateau d’Hebertot stands proudly in the heart of the Auge region, on a terreplein surrounded by a moat.

Hidden away in the heart of the estate’s forest lies the heated outdoor swimming pool where you can relax after an afternoon of enjoying your own private tennis court. Time seems to stand still here.

The 1,100 square meter Chateau d’Hebertot has eight bedrooms, eight bathrooms, and sleeps 16 people. Sounds perfect for a family vacation or a very private celebrity getaway. The price isn’t listed and I imagine it’s an example of, “if you have to ask, you can’t afford it”, but it’s fun to dream.
