Blazer Brigade for Fall 2020

There has been a fall chill in the air of New York this week. So much so that I wore a cashmere sweater yesterday with a light coat. I wasn’t sweating but I did realize that I maybe needed to slow my roll and transition to a blazer first. Someone asked a columnist at The New York Times for outfit advice on what to wear for work at home and Zoom calls but that could also be worn to walk the dog. I think these outfits would work for that and also date nights at restaurants outside or socially distanced meetings.

Ivory $75 cashmere sweater

These slim crop pant in four-season stretch are my favorite pants for fall.

Faux-snake smoking slippers

Warm sepia carryall tote

Paprika belted faux leather-trimmed Prince of Wales checked woven blazer

I own this silk tank and it’s a great layering piece.

Faux leather-trimmed Prince of Wales checked woven culottes

You can wear the culottes with flats in warm weather and switch to these tall slouch boots when it gets colder.

This green soft shoulder bag looks like Bottega Veneta but is only $29.99.
