There’s a feeling of concern in the air in New York right due to the Coronavirus threat. I don’t have enough food purchased stockpiled in case I have to quarantine at home for two weeks but I do have enough beauty and skincare products to keep me occupied thanks to the Dermstore Beauty Refresh Event happening now. You can save 20% off a myriad of participating brands now until March 9, 2020 with the code REFRESH. I’ve picked out a few of my favorites in case you want to try some new things.

I received a sample of this Wander Beauty Mile High Club Volume and Length Mascara in my last order from Dermstore and I absolutely love it. I have had such a hard time finding a mascara that doesn’t smudge, flake, or run. This one actually does what it promises which is create volume and length but also stays put even when I shed a few tears watching a movie.

I’ve been reminding everyone I know to wash their hands for 20 seconds but all that hand washing can dry out your skin so you must moisturize your hands as well. Dry skin can cause cracks which allow germs to penetrate according to Dr. Frank Lipman who also recommends using my favorite hand cream Weleda Skin Food. I keep a tube in every bag and drawer. I just noticed they make Skin Food Lip Butter now and plan to try a tube.

I haven’t been sick in two years and I think it’s because I am an obsessive hand washer and I also no longer use lip balm in a pot that required me to use my fingers. I now use the By Terry Baume de Rose Crystalline. I also keep a tube in every bag so I am never without it. It’s great when you want hydration and sheen but don’t want to wear a lipstick or gloss. I always stock up during the Dermstore sales.

My skin looks a little blah this winter so I just ordered this Caudalie Glycolic Peel Mask. It’s a peel treatment for tighter pores, oil reduction and smoother texture. It gets get reviews for being gentle yet effective.

You can never go wrong with Estee Lauder Advanced Night Repair. It’s still always a go to for my nighttime skincare regime.

I just started using This Works Perfect Legs Skin Miracle in preparation for wearing spring dresses. It does have an interesting scent which doesn’t last but it has definitely made the dry winter skin on my legs much softer.

I own almost every beauty gadget under the sun except for the DERMAFLASH DERMAPORE Ultrasonic Pore Extractor & Serum Infuser. “This skin care device is powered by ultrasonic skin scrubbing and infusion technology and features a unique, stainless steel spatula head with a two-mode setting to unclog pores and help enhance the absorption of active ingredients.” Sounds good to me!

I’ve used Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant for at least 10 years. I love the gentle exfoliation of the rice powder that can be used daily. I also always use it after a face mask for an extra level of exfoliation.

I have a cheap hair dryer right now but I’ve always wanted to try Harry Josh Pro Tools. The celebrity hair stylist knows his stuff and I know his Ultra Light Pro Dryer would probably tame my thick mane.

I love Christophe Robin hair products and always stock up on my favorites during the Dermstore sale. The Regenerating Mask with Rare Prickly Pear Seed Oil is one of the more expensive products so I always wait to stock up when it’s on sale. It makes my thick hair incredibly soft and smooth.

I also always stock up on RevitaBrow Advanced Eyebrow Conditioner when it’s on sale. I love how it helps fill in sparse areas of my eyebrows.

Happy Shopping!

XOXO,
