J Brand Spring 2020 Collection Worn by Christy Turlington Burns

02 . 08 . 20Although it’s freezing in New York today, I’m dreaming of spring. Since I work for myself, I don’t have to dress up every day so jeans are a staple for my day to day wardrobe. When it’s still chilly, I pair them with a cashmere sweater, wool coat, and sneakers. When it warms up a little, I wear jeans with a silk blouse, double breasted blazer, and flats. Much warmer weather is perfect for eyelet tops, jeans, and sandals.
The jeans I’m going to be reaching for this spring are going to be from J Brand after seeing the new Spring 2020 collection photographed on Christy Turlington Burns. She looks fresh and lovely but the best part is that J Brand has implemented sustainable practices for this new line of denim that uses 90% less water. They also pledged to apply sustainable technologies to 100% of all washed denim by the end of the year. Now you can look good while doing good for the environment.
“With a T-shirt, a button-down, or a sweater, denim is really seasonless fashion and suits my day-to-day better than anything else. Unless I need to dress up, I really don’t. I am a practical person. I like to be comfortable, not fussy. I suppose my ‘less is more’ philosophy comes across in my style, too. What you see is what you get.”
