If you follow me on Instagram, then you will have seen these photos already but I wanted to make sure I share Roman and Williams GUILD NY with everyone. GUILD NY is the new lifestyle space by Roman and Williams at 53 Howard Street that includes a flower shop, restaurant, and mercantile space that all meld together in perfect harmony. When I visited for a preview today, they were still unpacking boxes and a third was still to be finished but it still looked amazing.

You may remember that Roman and Williams designed Le Coucou, the most Instagrammed restaurant in New York for Daniel Rose. GUILD NY will include La Mercerie Café and Restaurant helmed by Marie-Aude Rose, Daniel Rose’s wife. It will serve French country inspired food for take away and dining. The beautiful “watery-blue” walls and velvet banquettes seem poised to become another favorite Instagram darling.

GUILD NY also includes a flower shop by Emily Thompson Flowers and a large retail space full of furniture, tableware, objects, and books. The plates and glassware in the restaurant will be for sale but who knows, if you made them an offer on things not for sale, they might take you up on the offer.

Roman and Williams GUILD NY will be open to the public on Thursday, December 21st.
