I never tire of seeing photos of the New York apartment of Vogue International Editor at Large Hamish Bowles. The very colorful and traditional home designed by Studio Peregalli will be featured in a new book New York: Behind Closed Doors by Polly Devlin and photos by Annie Schlecter.

“I was so delighted to have [my home] written about for this book by Polly Devlin, whose writing I have admired for decades, and who I think has painted an uncannily well-observed word portrait of me and my environment. I think that my interior is like an autobiography through objects.”

The book looks inside the homes of twenty-four artists, designers, writers, and social influencers in New York but doesn’t give their names so I guess we’ll have to all order it to find out.
