Fall is my favorite time in New York. The weather finally cools off and there are so many fun fashion and design events on the calendar. That means I’ll need a few new outfits to get me through the season and I can’t think of a better place to start than Halsbrook. They have a chic selection of fashions that perfectly transition from day to night. I’ve put together a few outfit options if you need a little inspiration but Halsbrook also has a lot of great summer styles on sale for 80% off for those of you who live in warmer climates. Happy Shopping!
I’m on a mission to add the color red to my wardrobe this autumn and this Paul & Joe Bonnie Red Wool Coat would be perfect. It could be worn with jeans and flats on the weekend and with a dress for work meetings and events.

I can’t think of a more perfect transitional dress than this MaxMara Studio Arlene Black, Red, White, Burgundy Polka Dot Jersey Dress. It could be worn alone while still warm and then layered with blazer or thin turtleneck for cooler temperatures.

Pearl necklaces can look very conservative but I love how this baroque pearl Kenneth Jay Lane Pearl Collar Necklace looks more modern.

If a red coat is a little too intimidating, why not add this Le Pouch Red Bag instead for a pop of color.

Seems I’m not the only one excited for fall. This Les Copains Pale Blue Wool-Blend Coat has already sold out but you can put your name on the waitlist for restock. An alternative that I like is the Megan Park Black Wool Cocoon Coat with Gold Embroidery.

As you know, I love grey for fall and winter. This Eleventy Light Grey Cable Knit Turtleneck Sweater would be the perfect addition to my closet.

White jeans are always the perfect way to transition to fall while it’s still warm. I would definitely pair these Jen7 White Stretch Denim Slim Straight Jeans with a grey sweater.

I’m trying to use smaller handbags on the weekend and this Lorenza Gandaglia Lorina Navy Woven Handbag would coordinate with a myriad of outfits.

This Paule Ka Purple Crepe Dress would be perfect for day to evening events and would stand out in a sea of black dresses.

Because the dress has clean simple lines, I would add this Nest Labradorite and Gold Necklace to add a little oomph.

This Atelier Mon Gold Adjustable Cuff Bracelet with Prehnite would perfectly complement the look too.

I would keep this W. Kleinberg Blue Embossed Crocodile Clutch in your day bag so you are ready for a cocktail event after work.

On chilly grey and rainy fall days, I always reach for black. I don’t have anything like this Kobi Halperin Roanne Black Sweater Vest with Fur Pockets in my closet and I think I definitely need it.

This Repeat Cashmere Black Mock Neck Cashmere Sweater is the perfect sweater for wearing with slim black pants or a skirt.

Speaking of slim black pants, I love these Piazza Sempione Audrey Black Stretch Wool Gabardine Capri Pants. Wear them with flats or a great pair of pumps.

You can’t go wrong with a black tote bag for work and this Alice.D Perforated Featherweight Black Leather Tote can fit all your daily needs.

In the last few years, I’ve started to mix blue and black and this LK Bennett Halyna Navy Tweed Jacket with Black Trim Detailing does it for me. It would be another great transitional piece to wear with pants or jeans and to throw over a dress.

I need to add a cocktail dress to my wardrobe for fancier after work events and this MaxMara Studio Durra Black Jersey Dress with Sheer Yoke is the absolutely perfect option.

I love how the petals of these Lulu Frost Jardin Earrings pick up on the flutter sleeves of the MaxMara Studio Dress above.

To finish off an evening look, I’d add this J Markell Mara Black Stingray Clutch.
