I always think it’s interesting that the word for wedding in French is marriage. I think we’ve all seen a situation where someone seemed to spend more time thinking about the wedding than the marriage itself. That’s why I love weddings that look and feel very personal and understated. I saw the wedding of Nathalie Love to Daniel Pappas on Instagram so it was nice to see the entire day revealed on Vogue.com this weekend. The couple got engaged at her father’s house in Maine and a year later they were married in the same location. It looked like a magical day.
