I apologize for the radio silence on the blog this weekend. It was much harder to work from Mexico than I had anticipated. Two back to back trips were also a bit exhausting. But now that I am back for good, I am ready to start decorating for Christmas and I’m using Suzanne Rheinstein’s house as inspiration. I posted this feature from One Kings Lane last December but it’s so beautiful that it definitely bears repeating. Suzanne grew up in the South so her decorations include citrus fruits which is what I saw all over Charleston last week. Since cleaning up pine needles is my least favorite holiday activity, I am excited to decorate with magnolia leaves and dried fruits this season. I have to get to work quickly before the arctic blast hits New York this weekend. Perhaps I should have stayed in Mexico!
