Jayson Home in Sag Harbor

One of the main reasons I went to Sag Harbor recently was to visit the new Jayson Home pop up shop at 3 Madison Street. The Jayson Home in Chicago is one of my favorite stores and it is such a treat to have them on the East Coast this year. The old whaling and supply store is packed to rafters with furniture, pillows, lighting, rugs, art, plants, books, tabletop accessories, candles, and every possible hostess gift you can imagine. While I was in the store, an older gentleman commented how he loved how much stuff they had compared to all the other stores in the Hamptons. What Jayson Home does best is mix vintage treasures with new pieces. I had the opportunity to follow them around the Paris flea market when I was living in the City of Light in 2014 and was amazed at how quickly they spot the best pieces. The Sag Harbor store has been doing so well that they’ve already had to restock it a few times. If you can’t make it out to visit them in person, you can find everything you in see online. Now if I can just get them to open up a store on the Upper East Side, my life will be complete.
