One of the most fun and whimsical presentations of Paris Fashion Week was by Cartier. They rented out the Hotel Montana in Saint Germain and created different fantasy scenarios filled with every Cartier product from high jewelry, watches, handbags, leather goods, sunglasses, stationery, to even champagne. It was a lovely departure for the usually staid brand. I recently had a conversation with someone about how events should be thought about from an Instagram perspective and this is a great example of it being done right.

For Fall, Cartier has created a few bags and wallets that harken back to vintage Cartier leather goods with the double C logo and oxblood color leather (second to last photo). I found a fabulous vintage Cartier pouch at the Marché aux Puces de Vanves last October that I love to use while traveling. It would be perfect nestled inside one of the new bags which is now at the top of my must buy list for autumn.
