Every time I visit Paris, I tell myself that this is the trip that I’m going to take the train to Belgium but I’ve still yet to make the trip. If there was a chance of visiting Dries Van Noten‘s gorgeous home in Lier, I’m sure I find a way to motivate myself. The Neoclassical house he shares with his partner Patrick Vangheluwe was built in the 1840’s and was decorated with assistance from interior designer Gert Voorjanswho also works on the Dries Van Noten stores. The home is filled with antiques and patterned textiles  just like the stores. Landscape architect Erik Dhont designed the 55-acre park and gorgeous gardens that fill the house with beautiful blooms. Since I won’t be able to see this home in person, I guess I will make due by making another visit to the iconic Dries Van Noten store in Paris next week.
