I’m not sure why Madewell waited until after Bastille Day to launch their second collaboration with Sézane but better late than never. The French brand was founded by Morgane Sézalory and inspired by vintage designs. She says of the Madewell et Sézanne pairing, “We both have brands for real women in real life, but with some soul. We love details and natural fabrics. Madewell brings some American effortlessness to Sézane, and Sézane brings some Parisian chic to Madewell.” I have a feeling the striped shirts are going to be a big hit and I already ordered the leopard sandals.
