I really wish I had visited Lisa Jackson’s store LJ Cross before I left for Costa Rica. It’s filled year round with all the essentials you need for warm weather trips such as bathing suits, sunglasses, hats, and sarongs. There are also lovely cashmere pieces and apparel for city living too. Lisa said she tries hard to source clothing and accessories from brands that no one else is carrying in New York. She especially loves Japanese designers and anything with a great texture to bring a downtown vibe to the Upper East Side.  The store also carries the full line of her own beautiful jewelry designs in rose and white gold as well as her lifestyle collection. It’s located on the Madison Avenue side of the Mark Hotel so I suggest a little shopping followed by lunch or dinner at the Mark Restaurant by Jean-Georges. It’s a win-win.
