A sure sign that antiques and modern art can coexist is the dining room at the Sotheby’s Showhouse that was designed by Russell Piccione. A George II Side Table, Consoles, Chimeypiece, George III Chairs, and silver serving and display pieces, look perfectly at home with works by Chuck Close, Alex Katz, Andy Warhol, and James Rosenquist.  Also thrown into the mix are 18th-century Derby Porcelain and contemporary Hermes Rallye China. A perfect combination.
