Chic in New York: Baccarat Hotel

In a city with hundreds of hotels, it takes a lot to impress people. The new Baccarat Hotel might just be the one of the best standouts. The location on West 53rd Street is across from the Museum of Modern Art and the interior featured their own gallery wall of art. and awe inspiring Baccarat chandeliers. The designers behind the interiors of the are the French studio Gilles & Boissier.
But the design will not be the only draw to the first ever Baccarat Hotel. Charles Masson of La Grenouille fame is bringing his beautiful flower arrangements and impeccable direction to Chevalier, the hotel’s new restaurant along with Michelin-starred Executive Chef Shea Gallante. Watching Charles Masson describe the perfect dining experience in a video on Bloomberg made me want to immediately book a table and then a room for the night.
If all of that doesn’t impress you, the spa is run by La Mer which is also open to non-guests. Unfortunately, it won’t be open until May 1st but you might want to book an appointment now. I have a feeling that the Baccarat Hotel is going to be very popular.
