Thinking of Paris
by habituallychic
01 . 13 . 15I felt so sad and guilty last week to be heading to a sunny destination when so much was going on in Paris last week. Everyone in the city was on my mind including those I got to know while living in the city of light this summer including Victoire de Taillac and Ramdane Touhami. Their beauty store Buly 1803 was one of the first places I visited after landing and it was thanks to them that I found the apartment to rent.
Every time I took a friend to their shop, they always commented on the quintessential French chicness of Victoire. Even in a simple outfit of a blouse and skirt, she just exuded that je ne sais quoi. Some of you might also remember the couple from when they lived in New York for a few years running Cire Trudon. Ramdane was always someone you noticed for his distinct style as well. Oh, and Victoire’s sister is the jewelry designer Marie-Helene de Taillac.
I only saw photos of their apartment and their view of the Eiffel Tower on Instagram but Garance Dore and Vogue have both featured the colorful space seen here. It’s so interesting and personal that I could look at the pictures all day and still not catch all the details.
I’m planning another trip to Paris in March and Buly 1803 will definitely be one of the first places I visit again.
