In one of my pre-blizzard trips to the grocery store, I picked up an issue of People magazine. In the back, was an article on the upcoming sale of Lauren Bacall’s treasures at Bonhams auction house on March 31, 2015. It will include artwork, jewelry, and other pieces from her apartment in the fabled Dakota apartment building. She bought the place in 1961 for $48,000 and now it’s also up for sale for $26 Million at Warburg Realty. Happy bidding!
